Teen Driver Education

1 Payment: $450 paid in full
2 Payments: $280 on day 1 & $200 by Day 15
Balance must be paid in full to receive permit paperwork -
Holds 2 hours a day - 16 sessions for a total of 32 hours.
4-week classes are Monday-Thursday.
By law, only 5 absences are allowed, make up days are online or schedule for MU days
Students who have not completed the course within the contract timelines will have their enrollment terminated and permit canceled. -
Drive times are scheduled online here and there will be a one-time setup fee of $15. Addition to tuition.
7 driving lessons - 2 hours each lesson for a total of 14 hours.
Each lesson consists of 1 hour of driving and 1 hour of observation.
Students may ONLY sign up for the lesson once they have received their permit and paid in full. -
The following documents must be submitted to DPS for permit testing:
• Verification of Enrollment (VOE) form from student's school (valid only 30 days)
• Original certified birth certificate, no copies or hospital versions are accepted
• No foreign birth certificates accepted, must have resident alien card, passport with US visa, or citizenship papers
• Original Social Security card
• DE964 form provided by Wheels Skills Driving Academy.
• Two proofs of residency documents not more than 90 days old -
Drivers must receive an additional 30 hours of behind-the-wheel instruction. These hours are required to be certified by a parent or guardian before a teenager may.
Progress to Phase 2 of Texas' Graduated Driver Licensing program. The additional hours must include at least 10 hours that take place at nighttime. The instruction guides.Click Here to view logs
